What Alex said, it seems within Perth cycling distance, yeh a bit of a dilemma I guess, but if you really like it you should probably at least give it some serious thought, would be a shame to miss the opportunity especially as it is under your budget, its close to your grandparents too
I did think of cycling just to visit the local village but the weathers not been so good. I don't think it would really work if i'm going out shooting though, wont be able to carry all my bags and I don't like turning up to shoots tired and looking like 's%$t' (well I try not to).

pffft... if you're going out shooting, you can either get picked up, or get the fella to drop you off in Perth in the morning. There's ways around everything, and having a house, in a private estate, with a spare room, and high ceilings to shoot in the rooms with.... too many positives for me not to go for it

Im sold on the cycling idea...
If you need to go to the shops or just escape its a good idea. If you have a shoot that day you SHOULD have notice about it so can always go in early when you have a lift.
Itll be a little extra work for you but I just don't think you can pass this up. As someone said earlier, if it doesn't work, it doesn't work and you can leave.

I think the getting a lift in is the best idea, I dont fancy cycling along the a90 in the rain lol!
Cheers guys, I think my mind is made up.
Had a bad sleep last night thinking about it but the area is amazing and it would beat staying above a pub in the centre of town listening to drunk people every weekend haha!

Cycling or not, though you have made your mind up anyway, my thoughts are this on any such event.
Do it or always wonder what if, most things can be undone if they don't work out.
I had the opportunity to move here in 2001, I risked everything, quit my job, sold our home, took only what would fit in my (small) car, cameras, computer and a few clothes lol
If I had not we would never have met and I would still be wondering what if, it has at times been tough, shit has happened because of my decision, but shit may have happened even if I didn't (the what if paradox) lol

Thanks everyone!
Looks like my decision is made now, you have all been soo helpful
I really don't know what I would do with you bunch.
I remember saying to a few people why I like UKPM soo much, its because of 'this' people being helpful and offering advice and words even if its not model or photography related.
Im sure even if Im stuck there during the cold days then I will have some friendly faces on here to keep me company
