You are all cordially invited to send in submissions as UKPM will be publishing a second volume of Members work.
The intention is twofold: 1] to showcase the community members work alongside their peers from this site 2] to use a percentage of the cover price to enable the site to continue by helping pay towards server costs.

Our aim is to have images published from all current members - Models, MUAs, Stylists and those other folk who hide behind the lens.
We already have the Cover image sorted thanks to the winning combination of Brian & Chrissie.

The intention is to have the book published by early December. Perhaps a perfect Xmas prezzie for your favorite model. Pricing has yet to be finalised as it will depend on the finished number of pages.

The images included will be the work of the Models, MUA's and Photographers here on UKPM and must feature a model. All images supplied for publication must have the copyright holders permission for inclusion. Image content should comply with UKPM Site Rules

To submit an image -

Please send each image in a seperate email.

Please name your images with your own name eg: DavidBailey_1_dsc123.jpg. If you have been asked to prepare and submit an image on behalf of a model or MUA then name it as MarieHelvin_1_dsc789.jpg etc. For a backup image if we have space to include then name your next image DavidBailey_2_dsc456.jpg
Images should be in jpg format, 300dpi, 2063 x 2067 pixels minimum, and sRGB. As the book is square format, landscape, upright or square files will be fine. Background colour of the pages will be black.

Along with the image please include the following information:-

Copyright Owner / Year
Image Title (if you wish)
Photographer Name
Model Name(s)
MUA / Stylists Names
Website name (as per site rules NO links to closed sites or Social Networks that you need to join or have password to view)
Statement to say that you are the copyright holder OR have the Copyright holders permision to submit attached image for publication.

It is intended to include this information with the image.

Good on you Hugh, I hope you don't get as hacked off as Tom did towards the end of creating Vol 1.

Thanks Adam, collating/production side shouldn't be a problem. On the prep side that'll depend on everyone here getting their images in on time.

If there's a prob we'll do a Nuts/FHM/Zoo and get the models just to send them in

Point that have come up on submissions so far, that when sending images over can they be a min 2067 on longest side.
Also: As the copyright etc will be featured then a copyright frame should not be needed.

Would there be a consideration of doing a limited run of the first edition again so that you had the option of buying edition 1 and 2 or just edition 2 on its own or is that not economically viable?

Just with the stange psychology of some people like me you're less likely to buy an edition 2 if you know it is the start of a collection which you could never complete.

No sorry, Limited Edition and all that. Don't want to flood the market. Just devalues the copies already out there

But do feel free to Invest in several copies of this one when it prints.

Just for you, we'll use Roman numerals on this edition and you can just black out one of them then you can have a Volume 1

Shame. Should be OK until we get to edition four then.

Never know by then they might have come out with the .mag TLD in which case everthing will get very confusing anyway.

Is there a suggested maximum number of submitions per contributor, roughly how many from each cotributor do you think will be published?

It'll depend on all out there to make it work but if we need more we'll shout

Just a note to say that as I'm away until 13th November any emails with your images attached will not get a reply until I return.

Hopefully we'll be in a position to close the entries as stated in OP above on the 20th November with publication by 2nd week in December.

Yes, It's a model theme anything from High Fashion to Artistic Nude and any other style in bewteen. Head shots to bodyscapes.

Just a reminder to the Models who want to submit their favourite images :

you can submit the required sized image as long as you have the copyright holders permission.
The image can also be submitted on your behalf as long as it has your name as part of the file name.

Thanks for those entries sent over while I was away.

As the deadline is looming I'd like to get a realistic idea of forthcoming images for the book. For those that are going to support the site and UKPM Book 2, can you please indicate below and also whether you'll supply 1 or 2 images.
