I know this will sound silly because i model and Im really putting myself out there for critisism but sometimes people should keep their comments to themselves,

Example, Being told that my nose ruins all of my pictures is not exactly constructive criticism.

Fair enough, say what angles are more flattering so I can work on it but I dont see any point in that comment.

A (non member) photographer said this a month ago and now its all I notice! I wont let it affect my confidence but its taking the joy out of any new pictures I get.

There is a slight bump, It only looks bad in some photos and not in others or in person, maybe Im wrong, but I think that says more about the photography!

(unless some are better photoshoppers!)

A natural reaction to a rather crass comment Michelle, but weigh it up against all the positive comments you get. Do your best not to let it p!ss you off, and arm yourself with some quality come-back lines.

He's more than likely just jealous because you can produce a better picture with others than what he can.

Some photographers totally bewilder me

I honestly wouldn't let it bother you. Everyone has their preferences, I used to get loads of comments when I used to have a very un natural hairstyle / make up. Some photographers will like your look, others won't, just as we don't like all photographer's work. There's nothing at all wrong with you, don't get hung up about it x

I had the same problem, and im glad ive out weight on, as it was horrible various comments such as chicken legs,skelator,my head is too big for my body, all my ribs stick out , bla bla and this coming from photographers, now i can understand if its constructive , but picking on peoples looks just isnt.

I think that such personal comments are wrong, if a model wants specific feedback and asks for an open and honest opinion, fine but otherwise it’s just unnecessary and can be hurtful, in the end though its just someone’s opinion, and you will probably have to get used to some opinions that you don’t like, shame it has to be that way, but it is or can be.

If there is something that xyz photographer doesn’t like about a model they don’t have to book them again, but there’s no need to be personal about it.

Some beautiful images you have, I don’t think that this comment is something you should dwell on.

I have just seen all three pictures in your gallery and can see nothing wrong with your nose. I don't know who told you there was, but it was probably a jealous as well as very unkind person.

What complete rubbish... theres nothing wrong with your nose! Jees... some people! They just want to make themselves feel better.

Your pics are stunning, even more so since you've not been doing this long! I can honestly say the sots of you I have in my portfolio are some of my favourites.
